ABOUT MEYRICK DECORATORS

I started Meyrick Decorators in 1999 after working for the well respected and long-standing Pointon Decorators in Wellington for 14 years, straight from school. Pointon Decorators were in business for over 100 years and as such, they invested time and effort into training their staff to the most thorough and highest possible standards. I was trained to understand that the customer should receive a high quality, courteous and personalised service at a fair price and this is exactly what Meyrick Decorators offer.

My company recognises that customer satisfaction is the most important factor and it is this that has enabled me to run such a successful business for many years and retain many regular and repeat customers. My company specialise in the domestic market where the quality of workmanship is key to its continuing success. I do not believe in cutting corners and only produce the quality of work that I would be content with in my own home. My commitment to this goal has ensured that a high percentage of our business is from repeat, happy and loyal customers who, in turn, recommend us to their friends, family and colleagues.

Wall and Floor Tiling

We cover all aspects of interior decoration from preparation work such as sanding (where we have invested in dust-free sanding equipment), filling and also small areas of plastering work where needed.

We cover all aspects of exterior decoration including masonry, wood/timber doors, windows, facias, soffits, garage doors and gates. We use quality materials such as Dulux Weathershield 8 year protection.

We can work with all types and size of tile including porcelain, ceramic and quartz amongst others. We also fit Vinyl-Click-in flooring.

Coving & Decorative Mouldings

Wall Papering & Coverings

Skirting Boards & Architraves

We can work with all types of plaster and lightweight ornate coving and decorative mouldings.

Following the necessary preparation work, we are able to hang all types of wallpaper and coverings including lining paper which can be hung as a base layer before papering or a finish layer ready for painting.

We cover many aspects of timber work including replacement skirting boards, architraves, picture rails and dado rails. We also cover minor repairs to existing woodwork where needed.
